    2017 Laws of Duplicate Bridge

    The new 2017 Laws of Duplicate Bridge come into effect for Australia and New Zealand on 1st August 2017. The only exception to this implementation date is where an event commences a day or two earlier and continues on through 1st August without any break of days, i.e. an event starting on the 31st July, finishing on 1st August will be played entirely under the old Laws.

    The Victorian Bridge Association Limited is the governing body for Bridge in the State of Victoria. In addition the VBA runs a bridge club from its premises in Murrumbeena.
    It represents over 60 Affiliated Clubs and over 5000 players in Victoria and is actively involved in promoting the game of bridge throughout Victoria and fostering interest in the game. It organises and conducts championship and other tournaments and works with all interested parties to ensure the effective and efficient administration and promotion of bridge
